Terms of Use

Scope
Brockmeier Finances is private, self-hosted software operated by its owner for personal, non-commercial use. Access is limited to the owner and anyone the owner explicitly authorizes. By using it, you accept these terms.
Not financial, tax, or legal advice
Everything this application shows — dashboards, projections, insights, tax estimates, and anything written by the AI assistant — is informational only. It is not investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice, and the application is not a bank, broker-dealer, or registered investment advisor. Projections are estimates built on stated assumptions and can be wrong. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
No money movement
The application cannot execute trades, transfer funds, or make payments on your behalf, and nothing in it should be read as an offer to do so. Acting on any suggestion is a decision you make and carry out yourself, at your own institution.
Third-party services
Linked features depend on third-party services (Plaid, Google, Anthropic, Supabase) governed by their own terms. The application is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data those services provide.
Eligibility
The application is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age, and use by anyone under 18 requires the involvement of a parent or guardian.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the owner and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from its use, including decisions made in reliance on the information it displays.
Changes and contact
These terms may change; the current version always lives at this page. Questions: charliebrockmeier@gmail.com.
